My Mom and I brought our own glow sticks in, but I remember being so pissed about security letting in posters. We were told posters were NOT allowed. We're up in the nosebleeds, I found us at one point, we're the only ones with purple glow sticks!!! We had so much fun, she put on a great show!

Any moment, everything can change. Feel the wind on your shoulders. For a minute, all the world can wait. Let go of your yesterday. Can you hear it calling? Can you feel it in your soul? Can you trust this longing And take control? Fly Open up the part of you that wants to hide away. You can shine. Forget about the reasons why you can in life. And start to try 'Cause it's your time Time to fly. All your worries, leave them somewhere else. Find a dream you can follow. Reach for somthing when there's nothing left. And the world's feelin hollow. Can you hear it calling? Can you feel it in your soul? Can you trust this longing And take control? Fly Open up the part of you that wants to hide away. You can shine. You put this perfectly. I was born in 2000 and I’ve watched music go from helping me have faith in happiness to the radio playing songs somehow encouraging my depression. Whether it’s intentional or not. I think we have so much nostalgia over times like this because it is not even close to how it used to be. I was pretty young being a fan of her but I saw the change in Disney and music growing up.

This song makes me cry. Whenever Hilary duff was popular, I was probably one of her biggest fans. I was obsessed, posters on the wall, anything and everything Lizzie McGuire related, etc. my grandma told me to get in the car one day bc we were "going shopping". Little did I know she would surprise me by taking me to a Hilary duff concert! I was about 11 or 12 & it blew my mind to see Hil in concert. Not gonna lie, after all this years I consider this my favourite song. Not because it's beautiful, not because it's tied to a particular event, but because it makes me feel something. Of course there are a lot of songs out there which make me feel real emotions, but this song... it's like a favourite book, like a sensation. It gives such a positive message, but it has also something sad in it. "Any moment, everything can change" that's true and not always positive. I don't listen to this song every day, but sometimes I need it to think, to "return to myself".

This album was like a security blanket to me as a child. When I was a little girl, my parents went through a nasty custody battle for me. My dad had been absent for much of my life and my mom raised me on her own. After my paternal aunt died, my dad was fighting to get custody of me despite my mom's protests(he was a heavy drinker and could be explosive at times so she didn't want me living with him). My dad went to many lengths to try to get me, even making a false claim to child protective services. I wasn't oblivious to this but I hated thinking about so I'd plug into my portable CD player and play this album on repeat. All of a sudden, everything that was bad seemed to disappear.

This definitely brings me back! I remember my mom's co-worker bought this CD for me when I was 11 as a post-op gift. I remember being so scared about my surgery and this song calmed me down and got me through the surgery itself and the recovery. Now 11 years later I can say this song still makes me feel calm and nostalgic! Even though my music taste has greatly changed, lol! :)

This song has literally grown up with me. I knew the message as a kid but as an adult it's way more real and wonderful. I'm so thankful Hillary wrote or even preformed this song. It's such a deep and beautiful anthem that maybe only I can fully appreciate, but all that matters is that I hear and connect with it.

I never realized how popular she was. As a kid I loved her music but I was really young and didn't have access to the internet or cable TV or drama mags. I always thought she was just a Disney star with a moderately successful music career, I didn't realize she was selling out huge stadiums and touring the country and being photographed by hundreds of paparazzi. That's awesome, good for her!

Fly Hilary Duff Any moment, everything can change. Forget about the reasons why you can in life. And start to try 'Cause it's your time Time to fly. And when your down and feel alone Just want to run away Trust yourself And don't give up. You know you better than anyone else. Any moment, everything can change. Feel the wind on your shoulders. For a minute, all the world can wait Let go of yesterday Fly Open up the part of you that wants to hide away. You can shine. Forget about the reasons why you can in life. And start to try 'Cause it's your time Time to fly.
