To: NMC, Great Review! As to this TPB slip case set..? 5-TPB’s in a slipcase with an extra TPB, for $99. Here we go again with this rip. This has shades of: “Something is Killing the Children “ the DLx HC Slip Case from BOOM. That slip cases HC was $70 for a HC w/NO EXTRAS, and just a card board slipcase..!?? WTFrack..!!? Yeah, naah. Hard pass on both. ….🤦🏻

I agree that the price is high for 5 softcover books, but this does contain an exclusive trade that can’t be purchased separately.

I was one of the people that asked Omar for this overview. He said he wasn't going to get it, but enough people asked him to. I feel a bit guilty even though our guy would never say anything to us.

At least the DC Joe Hill TP set, helps offset the empty feeling of buying BOOM’s “Slip Case Dlx HC of Something is Killing the Children” with not a single page of any extras, other than a little interview in the back that’s printed in both editions. I’ve Pre-Ordered the SIKTC Dlx HC that’s due out next week. I’ll be right as rain with that Edt., and get good value for my money.

I read all of those books uncanny guy ! Basket, plunge, dollhouse are the strongest imo… Daphne is ok n low low i did not like! Backup story is average…. If you don’t need everything just pick up the first three in trades n save money

Daphne Byrne and Baskefull of Heads are the only descent read about the whole series the rest are trash..nothing special about the hill house comics.
