I just need to watch one of your video whenever the devil in my head tells me I should just stay home n snack instead of heading out the door for a run. 😊Never fails to get me going..You are an inspiration to us! Thank you so much for all your videos.

Awesome training! We're so lucky that people have worked so hard over the years to preserve this network of parks.

Watched the video this morning, immediately recognized my local hills which motivated me to immediately go out and try the workout. Ended up meeting the legend herself! Great to meet you and big thanks for the motivation to get out today😁

Sally, I find your content really inspiring and refreshing because you're closer to my age and you have kids, like me. Sometimes I tell myself "Be more like Sally McRae" and other times I have to gently remind myself (a beginner runner with a full time desk job) I am not, in fact, Sally McRae 😅. Love your work.

It's relieving to hear a pro weeze like I do on a hard run. Thank you for keeping it real. Such an inspiration!

I weeze like that no matter the training -even when I lift. I have breathing problems, but so grateful for the gift to run 💪💪

Nice. I live in London UK but we have friends in Laguna and I've actually run on these trails. It was great! Inspired by this to run more hills. Thanks.

Super impressed with Drew running all those hill reps with a camera. Love the video! I lived out there for 6 years over 10 yrs ago, but I only rode mountain bikes during that time. Loved those trails and now wish I had them to run on since trail running is my favorite. The Crystal Cove trail is beautiful at sunset! Keep putting out the great content.

Thank you for watching! Yes-fun to have Drew running for a few minutes here and there. He also operated the drone(so did not run the whole workout) Those trails are so rad-love all the options and intersections throughout the park! It’s beautiful!!

Ohhhh love your Canadian mountains 😍😍😍and YES! I’m a big fan of hill work on the treadmill. You can get efficient, consistent climbing for a great workout. This particular trail closes a lot in the winter at the slightest rain so I was very happy it was open!

I’m so excited for you you’re going back to Western I think that’s when I first started watching videos on you. I got the opposite problem of most people anyways I guess you looks like you got a lot of that too but where I live it’s all hills we’re on the foothills of the Appalachian and everything‘s up my trails and my roads and this November I have 100 miler that’s only like 7000 feet total so Been trying to get Work some flatter stuff where I can work on horsefeed but we don’t really have anything so I am actually traveling to run some flatter trails and flatter roads and people laugh. They said that’s the opposite you’re supposed to do should be all good I’m amazed that speed doesn’t come back as quick as I would like it to at my agent, but I don’t mind running a flat hundred I’m enjoying the sessions

This was good timing as I have hill intervals on my training plan for tomorrow. Course, living in central FL means flat land so we have to get creative... parking garage ramps and pedestrian bridges for the win! 🤣

Awesomeness!! I’ve come to love hill repeats (yeah, nuts for real🤪) . I find them SOooo beneficial for road running as well as the trails for all the reasons you mentioned. My rationale is if you can bomb up hills, a flat(er) road race feels easier😂
