Because it was all legal. People brought a court case against the DNC, but even though their cheating was proven beyond the shadow of a doubt, they got away with it. The DNC is a private organization, and their "primary election" is all for show. They can legally choose a candidate who lost their election, and make them the nominee. One thing I will guarantee that if you match more politically with Sanders, Trump opposes you on everything. People say they're similar because their rhetoric is populist, but if you go issue by issue abortion, the environment, military, drug legalization, crime, health care, immigration, syrian refugees, gun rights, etc They are nearly opposite. I took the quiz and I matched most with Jill Stein/Elizabeth Warren at 70%, Sanders at 60%, Clinton at 50% and Trump at 10%. So if you were Bernie or Bust if you vote for Trump there's a good chance you are voting against all your issues.
