Ty for this! I have no friends or family and can't find a church home so as a lonely woman I adore these videos where there are people to love and hug 😢

Family history. Sweet southern ladies. Gravel parking lot. Old truck. Squeaky screen doors. Bus seats. Tarter sauce in packets.. it's perfectly southern style dining all the way and looks delicious! Thank you John for another great video and Thank you ladies for allowing us into your establishment :)

Oh gosh that food looks delicious! Such sweet people, love the gentlemen and his wife being seated and he says hi and does a big wave. You can just tell good, country people. We’re already planning a visit. Great story behind the humble beginnings and the owners mom and dad starting it all. I just love this video! ❤ Thanks!

I love Cathy! I am now living in Utah. Cathy used to come to Ingles when I worked there in High School and was always one of my favorite customers. The sweetest lady. And man, do I love a good Hillbilly Hideaway dinner!

Love that you’re venturing down into my neck-of-the-woods. My family and friends have been going to HillBilly Hideaway since it opened. I watched your video of Madison Dry Goods and Briggs restaurant and actually went there two weeks ago. I love these little road trips…having fun and making memories. Now I have a suggestion for you: The Depot at Cody Creek in Dobson, NC. You take either hwy 52 or 77 to Hwy 73. Then you take Hwy 601 about 8 miles to Cody Creek. If you check out their website, you will see that they have not only a restaurant but a chapel, a general store and something like a convention center. The food is great. And the icing on the cake is that you cross a covered bridge to get on the property. They also have cabins for folks to rent and stay all nestled up in the woods and the mountains. I really think you’d enjoy Cody Creek.

I've been seeing Kathy and her business for quite a while and wanted to come to Walnut Cove. After seeing this I REALLY REALLY want to come visit. We come to Western North Carolina pretty often from our home here in North Mississippi. Coming to Walnut Cove now occupies the number 1 spot on my bucket list. Thanks for showing us around such a beautiful homey place.

Friends took us there and I was not impressed. It was crowded, so loud, cramped at the table, food was not something to brag about and we've never gone back. That was my experience versus the positive feedback from others.
