Nuclear Disaster In Atomic City, Idaho! Riding Cedar Butte in our UTVs.

We explore the Idaho desert and learned that the worst nuclear reactor disaster in the U.S. happened near Atomic City, Idaho with the SL-1 Reactor killing 3 people. We then embark on a fun adventure riding the near by Cedar Butte and Big Southern Butte.

Great views of Cedar Butte. Excellent video. The east trails are bumpy but not that bad. Just good off-road fun, with a few lava rocks thrown in.

Actually Arco was the first town powered by nuclear energy. It was the Borax III reactor that powered Arco. Though EBR-I did prove that nuclear energy could generator electricity.

I have been considering getting a new wildcat xx, how do you think they compare to to other brands from reliability to performance?

It’s hard to say. They all have pros and cons. I enjoy the xx but I also know how to work on Them. I ride a lot of desert and they work well on smaller desert trails.
