That's insightful, explains a lot and changing that culture will require a Herculean task while we fight the inevitable revolution push-back. I agree with Newt, and a majority of Americans, that this is something that must be done for the survival of our Nation. "Looking for the Pony" Reaganism is perfect. Let's keep looking. My Reagan story…My parents were southern democrats who had never voted for a democrat for President..November 4,1980, watching election returns with my parents, I would turn 16 in 4 days….When it became clear Reagan would win, my Mom turned to me and said, I want you to remember this day, that man will save America… By 1984 we had all registered as Republicans and I cast my first vote for Reagan 84…We loved Ronald Reagan..I will turn 60 this November and I feel the same as 1980…We have to vote for Trump to save America.

My parents were staunch TX Democrats, as federal employees, even more Democrat party minded. Trump was why in their 90’s they cast their 1st vote that was not Democrat. Reagan said, "I'm going to turn the word 'Liberal' into a dirty word." And so he has. Reagan's agenda was to bitterly divide America to the point of civil war.....and so he has.

i have to share this story which i wanted to keep in my heart until death. I played major league baseball with the Cubs and Dodgers. Our team was in Mobile, Alabama that weekend Newt made a point of coming over to say hello on our bus. I follow this mans heart the sweetest man you can ever meet.

I love newt. Here's an interesting story, I started watching Newt Gingrich at least 40 years ago when he was teaching classes in college. I was living back at home still with my parents and maybe it was even 50 years ago and I was just intrigued and absorbed by his teaching politics. Then I moved out my parents home obviously, and got a real life. But I never lost my interest in politics. I don't know how old newt gingriches but this is a guy that I hope stays healthy and continues to give his lectures and wisdom to us for many more years!

An Article V Convention of States is needed to curtail the power of a federal government that has gotten too big and encompassing. Entire departments need to be relocated out of Washington DC to locations across the US. The concentration of the government to a single jurisdiction has become dangerous to liberty.
