@@CampingwithSamBananas If you ever find yourself up near Mount Rainier national park area, there is a road called Skate Creek Rd near ashford . I have been camping there since I was a kid. There are tons of spots right off the Nisqually river. It’s not a campground it’s just spots that people of built and you’re allowed to camp there. Beautiful camp sites. Thanks Sam

Great video, Sam. I've made hobo meals like that with great success! Rather than butter, use Italian salad dressing. The oil seems to cook the contents of the packet quicker, without burns or sticking. Also, the flavor is amazing. Rock on, dude!

That's a nice peaceful place to camp. I just got back from staying in a rustic cabin for 2 nights in a state forest. I ate some good food and drank some good coffee and relaxed. It rained but wasn't cold and my fire stayed lit. Keep the videos coming.

Dude yeah I hear you! When I started I was more drawn to winter/snow camping. I still love that, but after really getting prepared for rain camping, it's actually a ton of fun. I love it! And no one else is out usually. You should try it.

Bank line was great choice. I’ve always heard 3 loops for prusic and Prusic needs to be smaller diameter than Ridgeline. Bank line prusic over amsteel is best and over paracord also works well. Love your vids and tarp set ups.

Hey Sam! I think you are going to get big on KZbin. You're the kind of guy I would love to hang out with do some fishing and have some beers around the fire. (I stink at fishing too) My wife watched this one with me, and I told her most of your videos are 25 to 40 minutes of camping and 1 or 2 minutes of you hurting yourself. LOL! Looking forward to your visit to the PNW!! Here's a tip: Crater Lake National Park. Just look it up online. I live about an hour from here and go quite frequently. I have never run out of things to do here. You can also hike a bit of the PCT, as it goes right past the park. Love your attitude, love your videos!

Hi Colleen! I ended up spending all my time in Olympic National Forest. The National Parks are a lot more restrictive about filming. I did get into Olympic NP, Hoh Rainforet etc with Mrs Bananas after she joined me. Hope to be back soon!
