Great info here, ripped my first with my nephew over Christmas and was lucky enough to hit the SAR Penny! Got one more so sure our luck is spent but couldn’t be happier considering this was my first Japanese BB!

Thanks for the pull rate data. I got extremely lucky as I got a god pack, Iono SAR, and Arven SAR in just six boxes. Sometimes, you can get very lucky but most of the time you lose out

so per sealed case of 20 box, if we opened all the boxes, we will lose half what we paid straight away? if we dun get the top SAR...

There are hit rate ratios of 20+ cases that came out on release day, that give different ratios for some of the things you glossed over. The rarity of URs and SARs is a lot rarer than what you showed. Some cases are more loaded I guess. Many Japanese youtubers have put videos up that might help to give more depth to your ratios

Hi there, This was a very interesting video. The lady must have really enjoyed opening these boxes in your video. Out of interest after opening 40 boxes, could you estimate (ball park) how much the total value of the pulls were using an average value of card per class type. I feel 2 cases was almost the minimum sample size to get a feel of the pulls. Very glad you did this. 👍

I was trying to find some info on the odds of finding shinies in these packs. I bought a box not too long ago and it was today that I was opening the box and started to pull. I reach the last pack and my mind was blown. That last pack were all shinies. 10/10 of the cards were shiny. I got 1 SAR palafin, 3 SSR (wigglytuff, pidgeot, and iron threads) and the rest were just baby shinies. The shinies: hawlucha, pawmot, drifblim, lechonk, mankey, and mastichif. So what's the percentage for a god pack of Whoops! All shines. probably the best luck I have ever gotten in my life.

I ordered two boxes and I opened up one. I pulled the Charizard sar and Gardevoir full art. As well as my chase baby shiny, the shinx. I'm quitting while I'm ahead now 😂

The hit rates have really depressed the value of the box here in China. On release it was selling for the equivalent of around $67 a box. Right now they are selling for around $37 a box.

What do you think of it as sitting on it until like the rest of the Pokémon cards, go up in value once they stop making them? I’m just getting back into it and pulled the SAR Zard haha like I paid $70 for the box and obviously it goes for $275 or around there, big come up… but also I feel like it’ll go up more considering how hard it is to get 1 of the 8 sar… so in a sense I don’t mind holding it.. if that makes sense

I opened 2 boxes recently and didn’t get an SR so I got pretty unlucky. Edit: even if you open 2 boxes you’ll still have a 25% chance of not getting an SR
