Hilti makes some nice quality tools, with quality components compared to others. I know their batteries use the best cells out there. Price is higher, but you get what you pay for. I’m a fan for sure and wish I could afford to have more Hilti in my stable of tools

Everyone needs to stop saying he sounds like a Hilti rep.. he’s introducing the technology of the platform. The KZbinrs that got to test everything are under embargo dates as to what they can talk about and when they can get their hands on the tools. They’re legally not allowed to tell you or show you anything else. Most of them said that they never signed a contract for sponsorship but are accepting the tools (for free) to test them, but will be given freedom to give their actual opinions

@A Concord Carpenter / ToolBoxBuzz. Thanks Rob for a better informative take on Hilti's new NURON tools. Hilti is late to the game but they've always been going after the larger contractor businesses. We'll see whether they not only continue to keep that market but take some of Milwaukee's MX FUEL users. We'll see whether the engineering of Hilti's NURON matches it marketing and makes the contractor's job easier and better. Hope you, your crew at TBB, and your families stay safe ands well.

Great video rob. Seems like amazing tools for those who's jobs can justify the cost outlay.

Hi Rob any idea if they're using 21700 cells in there batteries?

They’d be a lot smaller if they weren’t. ;)

Did I miss the cost of the tools and batteries? That’s a huge factor in the value to a business when quoting a contract.

Nope didn't mention - this is an intro to the platform, - more detailed videos will come

As a Hilti fanatic i choose Milwaukee 😂 ,from Hilti i have only the new 12v drill (best ever) and the BX the rest are too big and chunky for carpentry. Milwaukee gained customers from both Festool and Hilti only because of the nail guns .

Nice looking tools but I would need a second job to afford them.prices are crazy
@charlesking6782 жыл бұрын
This may be a game changer, but years ago I worked for a company that provided you with tools and they gave hilti. I remember those 22v tools being absolute hot garbageand wondering why the company was paying so much for ryobi/porter cable like performance. Because of that I don't think I could ever give hilti an unbiased try ever again.
@ConcordCarpenter2 жыл бұрын
I don't think that will be the case noew
@Fictitious_Character2 жыл бұрын
It's because they leased the tools and when a tool goes down Hilti is there to pick up the tool and have a replacement. From a large company standpoint it saves time which saves money.
@charlesking6782 жыл бұрын
@@Fictitious_Character the tools seldom ever broke and if they did, you run down to the job trailer and get another one. They had plenty extra.

I own a construction company in france and have bought 4 hilti sd5000 brushless screwguns that have broken down so many times i cant remember. Hilti used to make the best tools on the market but today they make expensive for nothing tools. Id rather go makita bosch or other

Bosch Profactor tools are really nice, but their prices are insane these days.

That’s a lot of cool aid. We have a couple Hilti SDS tools and the Dewalt are much faster and more durable. Hilti salespeople suck to get a hold of for repairs or supplies. I’d put any tool up against Flexvolt tools to this day. We have the Hilti DX-5 and 351 and those are very good powder activated tools. Very expensive
@ConcordCarpenter2 жыл бұрын
That's what I said in the video - Hilti has always suffered losses in our Head-2-Head testing, mostly due to brushed motors and failure to keep up with the pack. This is their 2nd generation tools - to compete with the pack
@gregorybergere2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, Robert, but you sounded like a Hilti rep. It was if you were reciting the sales manual at times. There is a fine line between commenting on technical details versus showing claimed improvements. But as always, how the tools perform in the field will be the real test.
@ConcordCarpenter2 жыл бұрын
I disagree - this is a completely new platform and people want to know what its about, too soon for performance testing - they still want to know

No it’s an introduction to a new platform, with math, and details from the company. We will be testing these tools in the future and including them in our head-to-head tests. On another note I did use these tools of a period of several days while at Hilti headquarters and had very nice first impressions on many of them
