@@unforeseencircumstances the cost of living is going up do to artificial inflation which is companies raising their prices by alot and then blaming it on inflation when in reality the companies didn't need to raise prices to keep a huge profit by doing this they make even more money than they did prior to the actual true inflation. its happening all over and people don't even realize it they just sit down and accept it them complain when they cant afford to live anymore.

Just so you get out of your ignorance is 39$ in the period of 4 years!! We are asking for a fair price for what you do not want to do like pick up after yourself. If you have never worked in the hotel industry you have no valid opinion and do not know what you are speaking on. Also the “tip” that you leave gets taxed and most of the times the company keeps it.

I'm not sure if you're correct, but if so - 35 an hour at full time, assuming they have NOTHING taken from their pay check is 5600 a month. Many places want you to have three times the income to rent meaning they'd have to find something 1866 or lower in rent. Mayyybe you can get a studio at that price? But they won't get paid 5600, because taxes, SS, etc comes out of their pay as well. Then add insurance, groceries, transportation, dependents, etc. Everyone deserves to live a respectable life, especially when you're working full time.

it's your place of work. You should know what to expect . Staying in hopes that they ( owners or whoever ) will " help " you with a raise so you can continue with your bad expending habits ? Since 2020 , many started to no care about their responsibilities and just live day by day.

Yesterday during strike guest were totally disrespectful!!! Guest stay assaulting us because we are on strike and they say it makes there stay uncomfortable, yes but the hotel knew we were going on strike and decided to only move events of 911 in the month of August, they did not care to notice the guest when booking hotel, management do not care about anything expect getting money.
