This is a great option for extreme high season, and a bit of a game changer if Hilton expands it. Hopefully owners at a specific property don't start missing out on Christmas and Spring Break because the collection points people book it first. You're right about there's always more to learn!

I think the inventory will be limited to unsold inventory so it shouldn’t affect the owners too much. It is a good way for hilton to get reservation for inventory they are paying maintenance and good for people who might not have priority. A win win.

Thank you for your updates! Always helpful to new owners like us. We are very happy about HGVC expansion. We live 2-3 hours away from Palm Springs and can’t wait upgrades on Palm Springs property.

Thanks for the update. We were informed of The Trust Collection in Maui a couple of weeks ago. Sounds interesting and something to think about in the future as we are barely starting out and learning how to maximize what we have. The updated property you showed was exciting to see at Ocean Tower. Seems like the promises of renovations are coming true, which is great like you said. 👏 I will say your DEMOs look very different to my searches. I need to play around with the portal more. 😅

Thank you for the comment. You have to have ownership in the collections to see the destination exchange searches. This part of the integration of Diamond and Hilton. It is not clear how deeded property owners will get access to this (I asked and there was no answer). If you only own deeded property you won’t see this. You have to search under destination exchange and not online reservations if you do own collection points. Take your timing learning and getting better. The more I learn the more value I get.

Good info! Do you request owners updates or is it something they ask you to do? When you do have an update....do you negotiate any Hilton Honors points or is there a flat out offer of say 30K HH points to do one? I think you touched on this in a past video..... but still curious. I have been offered HH points and have done a few...but it always seems they want us to buy more or upgrade vs. just education. Thanks!

I get updates similar to you. I get offered Hiltons points and I ask for more. And they also want me to buy. But I also come with a bunch of questions which is how I got the information for the video. For example, I will explain how I have used points with diamond resorts and will it be similar to Bluegreen. I ask them to show me how destination exchange works (especially if I am at a former diamond resort. They always ask me to buy, but only after discussing my questions. That is how I turn the meeting into an education for me

Ohhh.....ok. A going in strategy knowing they're gonna ask you to purchase despite you being a Premier + member. (We're just basic members) I guess the more you do updates the better you get at it. Request for maybe a future video......might you be able to go through with your viewers what you do in a year? Say.....in Jan I stayed at these locations used #### points....in Feb I stayed here with #### points.....maybe have the slides show the 8, 10, 12 months of travel.....and points listed. I know when you have your reviews you do this at the end....maybe a synopsis or something? No worries if it's not possible. Thanks!😊

@@timesharetraveler We'll try to learn about your past comments about being frugal with points and off season travel. I am super conscious of Platinum vs. Gold travel and am hesitant to "splurge" 😁But maybe someday we'll come around. If there is a way to get points BUT not buy another deed, etc to assist on travels....even that info is newline to learn. Still.....no worries if unable. Your time is precious so you're appreciated either way. Thanks again!

@@DavidRodriguez-ou9fy your ideas often drive me to learn more so I can share. On the diamond side you can buy single use points to add to your vacation. I want to see this on the hilton side and it was on a slide presentation in 2022, but haven’t seen it on the current benefits list
