Hi Dean, your video was very informative and useful. I’m looking to stay 6 nights at the Hilton Hua Hin resort with my wife and two children (under the age of 10) and just wanted a few family fun ideas/excursions I could do whilst there. Also is it easy to get around without hiring a car? Thank you

Thanks for your comment, yes it is easy to get around but that depends on where you are staying, if you're near the shopping Malls then it is very easy and if you're near the Hilton then also should not be a problem. If you're staying near the mountains then this could be more of a problem. There are a few apps that you can use for local transport or using the local Baht bus is great and very cheap only 20 Baht in most cases. You have waterparks and The Venezia Hua Hin, but I hear not all of the shops have fully opened inside since Covid. I am not really up on children's things to do but I am sure with a google search you can find something, The beach is free and great to be on even on a daily basis. I love the shopping malls and they have a Christmas theme at the moment and at the weekends try to do something for the children. Hope that Helps

@@whatsdeandoinginthailand Perhaps using App known as "GRAB" will be the answer to the question. It is super inexpensive and helps the local economy.

Nice review there. I'm over for 8 nights the end of May using some of my Hilton Honor points up for a free stay. I'm a top tier which gets me free breakfast, executive lounge access and more than likely a double room upgrade. Give me a shout if you want to do a part two video.

Sounds good, give me a shout on Rose Garden Soi 88 Facebook page and we can arrange something. Sounds like a great deal

I have just been told that it is a normal sofa, but I am sure that the Hilton has rooms with sofa beds in and possibly an option when booking with them. Regards Dean

Sorry I have 1 more questions please. We are trying to decide between 2 hotels in hua hin and the hilton is one of them, the other one being Anatara. With the hilton was anyone allowed in via the beach? I feel like the pool area is very busy with people coming in from the beach just looking around. I could be completely wrong though. Thank you again

I just did a search on the Anatara and it looks very beautiful and I would personally stay there if I did not want to be that close to the town and markets. However I do normally want to be close to the town and markets so Antara for me would not be the choice purely for that fact. But if I wanted to have some romantic time in a beautiful accommodation then Yes I would stay at the Antara. Depends on your circumstances, but to answer your other question is that normally you would have staff on the beach side to stop everyone coming in so I don't think that this would be a problem. Possibly try another Hotel there are so many to choose from. I probably would not stay at the Hilton personally.
