Shout out to ya at Hilton!! Rick Delair here, glad ya are still in Colonie Center! I am still wanting to to learn to play my Hammond C-3 with a 22-R Leslie I converted to a 2 speed 122 myself, and learned how to service these beautiful organs myself, and my 1966 Wurlitzer 140-B electric piano I rebuilt myself in 2001 totally, she’s a PEACH! 👍🏻😋 I am a drummer but also like trumpet and keyboards. My kit is a vintage Yamaha made Rogers R-380 set and I play what I easily term the best cymbals on the planet, PAiSTe 2oo2!! They are gorgeous beyond belief! I am still kicking, will have to pay y’all a visit soon! Cheers and keep up the good work!! MANY, MANY years ago, I worked at Hilton Music in the Syracuse,New York area! We had stores in all the shopping malls at that time. The Lowrey organs were just coming out with the digital one-finger chord and rhythm accompaniment and people loved them. We also sold Yamaha and Kawaii pianos. Is this possibly the same “Hilton Music “ from many years ago? Obviously, the stores are gone, and the malls they were in are all gone; Bob Hilton looks like the owner from back then, but………..? Would love to know what happened; the main stores were in fact in the Albany New York area! 😊

It is the same Hilton family now on the 3rd generation. Years ago back in those days my dad had 8 Hilton Piano stores and my uncle around 13 Hilton Music stores. Many of the stores were combined together in the same store location. In this generation, we are not as crazy as my dad and uncle, 1 nice store in Albany is good! The old organ days are sadly gone but we are still thriving in the piano, digital piano world. In Albany, Hilton Piano Center and Hilton Music Center share the same location.
