Ist echt ein cooles Hotel und selbst um Weihnachten herum gab es immer noch das tolle Upgrade. Immer wieder gern. :-) Cool, dass Du zur Eröffnung da warst!

Is there activities around the resorts or it is a quiet resort area?

Both resort areas are pretty quiet. Around the Hilton, there's just one shop that you can reach in about a 15-minute walk, and apart from that, it's peaceful and calm. The DoubleTree is similar, with a nice area for taking walks, but there are only a few other hotels nearby. The closest mini supermarket is also about 10 minutes away. Definitely places to stay in the resorts or to take a taxi somewhere else. :-)

Which hotel do you rate as better? Last year we were at DoubleTree, this year we are going to RAK Beach Resort.

Both have their pros and cons and in the end its the personal preference. The upgrade to the bay club room at both visits at the DoubleTree is definitely cool and more modern than the rooms at the Hilton. The natural beach at the Hilton beats the artificial beach of Marjan Island by far. The live music of the DoubleTree is replaced by piano music in the Hilton's lobby. And the Hilton is calmer die to the length of the property. And finally, the DoubleTree is usually cheaper. Hard to decide which one is better. I personally loved the live music at the DoubleTree and value that higher. 👌

Haben Sommerurlaub im Hilton beach Resort gebucht. Im Doubletree waren wir 2017. Hat uns nicht so gefallen. Zu voll und zu sehr nach Hurghada Cluburlaub.

Das Hilton ist sicher weitläufiger und - vom Zimmer abgesehen - ein sehr gutes Hotel. Und im Sommer absolut fair bepreist. Wünsche Euch schönen Urlaub! Der Sommer ist bald! 👍

Sind der Frühstücksbereich sowie die anderen Restaurants beim Hilton Resort nur im zentralen Gebäude? Wenn man sein Zimmer oder Villa irgendwo am Rand des Areals hat, du meintest ja das ganze ist über 1km lang, muss man da die ganze Strecke ständig zu fuss gehen oder gibt's irgendwelche Buggies oder ähnliches?

Die Restaurants sind über das gesamte Gelände verteilt und man kann sich natürlich mit dem Buggy fahren lassen. Das ruhigere Frühstücksbuffet ist am entfernten Ende des Resorts vom Hauptgebäude aus betrachtet. War immer ein netter Morgenspaziergang von 15 Minuten. :-) Auf dem Weg finden sich noch einige Bars und Restaurants.
