Hey Anthony. The thread is stripped for the tensioner pulley bolt that goes into the block. Is it a good idea to use a helicoil to fix the problem?

Just replaced idler bearing for the timing belt for a hilux 3L. Turned the motor over but was clunking so turned straight off. Turned the main engine cog to see if it was lined up and it all stopped. Can I turn the top cog as seen in your video until the marks line up and then put a new belt on? Will the timing then be right?

Always turn motor over a couple of full rotations with a socket on the crank pulley instead over with starter motor

Hi Anthony i am hoping you could help me I have a problem with my land cruiser prado j120 3.0 diesel there is a loud knocking noise coming from the engine thought it might have been injectors so i take them to get tested but they are okay. Could you point me in the right direction. Thanks Brad

Can just mark any tooth at arrow point with white paint pen before removing and just put new belt on exact same spot. Click 1 tooth back to allow for tension to push forward

Just did this on the KUN26 2015 3.0 D4D, took 43 mins, removed the tank you removed and the fan, and unplugged that white plug in the picture at 0:55 in this video. Kit from PartSouq

I replaced mine with a cheap motorcycle fuel filter for only 1$ it worked, better than aisin map filter 40-60$ price. I gain more boost/hp on higher rpm I felt my car a bit responsive No reliability issue, tested already for how many years.
