बारामासा की टीम को बधाई जो उत्तराखण्ड के इतिहास पर यह कड़ी बनायीं I विडियो के नीचे आई कुछ टिप्पणियों को पढ़कर यही लगा कि लोगों को इतिहास की नै कोई समझा है न कोई जानकारी I इन सब लोगों का कथित "ज्ञान" सिर्फ पुरानी मान्यताओं के चलते सुनी-सुनाई बातें और whatsapp द्वारा भेजा गया अध्-कचरा ज्ञान है I उत्तराखण्ड के कथित ब्राह्मण और राजपूत का यह मानना कि इनके पूर्वज बाहर से आये हैं पूर्ण रूप से सही नहीं है I बेशक कुछ 10%-15% मध्यकाल में बाहर से आये लेकिन ज़्यादातर खस हैं जो ब्राहमण, क्षत्रिय हैं और ने जातियां भी है I खुद सोचें क्या हमारी बोली-भाषा, रीती -रिवाज़, त्यौहार, साहित्य क्या राजस्थान, गुजरात, मध्य प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, कर्नाटक से मिलता है? बल्कि हमारी भाषा, बोली, संस्कृति हिमाचल और नेपाल की हिमालयी संस्क्रित्यों से मिलती है I षड़यंत्र तो नहीं कहूँगा लेकिन यह ज़रूर कहूँगा की एक तरह का झूठ हमारी पीड़ियों को परोसा गया है कि सब बाहर से आये हैं जो कि पूर्ण रूप से असत्य है I हम लोग हिमालयी समाज है है और यही की मिटटी में हमारे पूर्वज जन्में, पले-बढे और जीवन जिया I हम खस जन है और पहाड़ की संस्कृति खस है I

In Himachal Khash is used by natives proudly, not taken as slur and has numerous varna. Proving varna were never birth based. All khash legends in HP indicate Khash were native to India and migrated to Himachal UK etc when sarasvati dried up. In HP Khashiya is synonymous with Kshatriya. A Brahmin would never call himself Khashia. Here, Rajputs from plain were very few and hence became part of Khasha society so much so that no one sees any difference in Rajput and Khasha as both claim to be descendants of ancient Kshatriya. There are some theories regarding the origin of rajputs but regardless they are considered kshatriya. As for Khashia, they are ancient kshatriya although in Manusmriti (If i remember correctly), people were advised to not consider them so for having abandoned the codes of Kshatriyas ( became Buddhists or didn't follow Brahmanism). Queen Didda of Kashmir was daughter of Khasha chief of Rajouri btw. So regardless of Kshatriyas from Plains(Rajputs), or Khashia from hills, both are kshatriya and now since Rajput became the common word instead of Kshatriya, there is nothing wrong in saying that both are the same and can be treated as a new clan like Bhatis, Rathor or Baghela rajputs who are associated with particular places. Hence the term Khash Rajput. Don't know why in Uttrakhand situation is different from that in Himachal and Nepal.

Main difference between rajputs and khas is related to there life style and social status. Khas were a dominant force but were subdued by rajputs who made them second dominating tribe in Himalayan region, but were always secondary to rajputs. Rajputs mainly avoided marital alliance with them because of there accepted norn of marriage of widows and multiple marriages of women. And ploughing , all these things were a taboo in rajputs

@@parveshbisht4955 bhai pl check the historical records and government gazetteers. You will come to know how the hundreds of principalities in himalyan region were formed and who they were. One example of jodhpur state I'll quote, only 220 men came from fallen Ujjaini and established Jodhpur state state , which is right now largest rathore ruled state. Similarly are 6 states in shimla region which were made by 4 brothers who came from gya . So many examples, but yes ur right that main difference was social and not racial. Aryans entered into himalyas twice , first the Khasa Aryans who intermarried with locals existing tribes like kols , Doms etc. Second wave of Aryans was in form of Rajput's from plains, who maintained non alliance with existing local tribes. Bhai if you are from himalyan region then you can check from elders and let cals about local customs and traditions that will give more clarity. It's not about purity of blood or racial difference, but it is about ruler and ruled, about economics and politics

Raja of garhwal made a fake genealogy and associate themselves with Panwar Rajputs of malwa that's why we are using this as our surname but our relatives are negi ,bisht , rawat , bhandari etc. Even aswal are also chauhan so u are also an outsider

But all these things doesn't matter today khas identity is totally integrated with the aryans today, not only names but customs are all mixed up. And not all Jaunsaris are khas we also have relatives there.

This region was mostly dominated by Khasa and Kirat Dynasty these people neither came from outside and nor they were Aryans, we can still found fossil of early humans and thier painting in a lot of caves in uttarakhand mostly in Almora Caves, so Aryan Invasion theory is false. Khas bhasa hamare Nepali, Gadhwali, Kumaoni, Himachali bhasa ke foundation bhasa hai. Jahan par aaj Nepal hai, 5th or 6th Century mein wahan par Khas Kingdom hua karte the, somewhere in Central Nepal area. At that time there was no Nepal, no Garhwal and no Kumaon. In this entire Himalaya region, the Khas culture and language was prevalent. Please do not rely too much on British historians, because they have written history that are false and that serves their purpose. Read history written by Nepali historians as well who were independant of the Britishers.

Very good video. Keep your good work. I was very much surprised with the animosity against the term "Khasya" in the comments. The video author is probably right that pahadi aryans of uttarakhand are khasyas or mixed descendants of khasyas. As a member of Nepali khas community and who has read history written by prominent historians of Nepal, i learned that khas people were ruling the stretch of hilly land from Garhwal to central region of Nepal at different times in history. In Modern political context of Nepal Pahadi Kshtriyas, Dalits and Brahmans are classified into Khas-aryan ethnic identity. The difference between uttrakhand and Nepal has been that in Kumon region kings migrating from plain areas took over the political control and marginalized the Khas people/nobility. The later group of people probably looked upon their khas identity as low status and hence took up the Kshtriyas/Rajpts or Brahmans titles to raise the status. In contrast, the Nepali Khas kings were in political power throughout the history. These Khas kings/nobility , who were follower of Buddhism or shaman traditions at then, reconverted into Hinduism around 13-14th century, and their descendants later formed the Gorkhaa-expansionist empire. At present time in Nepal, the term Khas is not looked upon as something indicating low status but as a root that all pahadi-Aryans belongs to.
