Mirror adjustment in my gixxer sf is a nightmare. It fits 13mm spanner but normal spanners don't fit in. You'll have to grind some of it's surroundings to fit in the slot. Even the service center technician uses the spanner in same way. They haven't provided any specific spanner to the service center either. It's a headache for me so i tightened it fully so that it won't move even after applying some general force. It's great to see that the new Himalayan has all the essential tools and it can be fit under the pillion seat so well. Great work.

You can also attend some DIY sessions that are arranged by RE, i got to know all this from them- 1. You have spare fuse included inside with color codes 2. Always keep track of chain adjustment on both side of swing arm the number should be same 3 you can stiifen the suspension 1-2 points and see what difference it makes coz that will reduce initial sag and so suspension will become more effective, not sure about himlayan but in hunter stiffening 2 points improved the comfort remarkably.

Its amusing and a little surprising that many people who are bike enthusiasts pay not attention to stock toolkit and often take it out of their bike. Actually Eve to deaign toolkit a lot of engineering thought goes into because it has to fix certain tahing, adhers to size restrictions and basically a company's expectations that what can be fixed by a custome on road by himself. RE has uploaded entire DIY series on their official youtube channel where every fix is done with their provided toolkit only which is included in every bike including tyre change, chai adjustment, clut adjustment etc.

Nice to RE, but I keep three tools - 7" water pump plier, 6" needle nose plier & 7" adjustable spanner - always with me. This combination works for all nuts, bolts, wires, plugs...
