Rode a RE 350 for two years when I lived in Nepal. Loved the bike but wasn’t worth the cost to try and bring it home. Fast forward to last April I’m on a long distance hike and as I’m crossing a road in Virginia I hear this rumbling. My first thought was - that can’t be a RE but sure enjoy here it comes around a curve. The rider spotted me and pulled over to say hi. He had the Himalayan all black and had it set up nice. Racks/bags both sides of the rear wheel, a small seat bag behind him, tank bag and he may have had a small bag under the head light. Bottom line he was on a month long bike trip so he had everything he needed. Bike looked awesome. I was jealous and took a bunch of pictures that I sent my wife., She crushed me in her reply - you are far too old (67) to start riding a bike again with all these crazies driving cars”.

I don't know what parts of the comments you've been wandering at or maybe you're just being a titty-baby and getting your feelings hurt for no reason, but I see no slanders about the bike or India. Literally all the comments are praising the make & the model. So, drop being an arse for clout. That being said, the original Royal Enfield brand was English (which was only later partnered with Indian company). The designer of Himalayan is South African (Pierre Terblanche). So, it's not "that" much of purely Indian per say. Also, most of the Motorcyclists don't care about the fucking countries or border or from where a bike originates from. Biking is literally opposite of all those things and be free from borders and shit.

@X-Ray_Fox7 ай бұрын
@X-Ray_Fox7 ай бұрын

You should connect the positive terminal to the battery first, then the negative. This prevents short circuits because 12 volts of electricity are coming out of the battery, and a spark or a short is possible, if unlikely. The positive side connects to an engine part. the seat adjustment thingie is "inspired" by Triumph Tiger seat adjustment, as is the elimination of the tail light, which is "inspired" by the new GS 1300.

Its 40nm and felt terrible listening to wrong stats again and again. 8:20 It's not at all what you think it is, your fellow countrymen are flying all the way to India to do cross-country bike trips here, just check them out on YT. The scene is pretty lit up.

Came from India and was thinking to buy a bike in future. Now, if I can take this back to BE, I think I will always go for my love "Royal Enfield"!! Should be interesting if Bajaj also starts to sell their bikes here in EU

13:52 In India, it is necessary to have rear view mirrors on the right hand side of your bike, not so much on the left hand side, people usually leave it off, hence the rubber tipped reusable kind of plug, for the left, but the one use tape for the right side. Hope that helps.
