That's because of the Tappet of the outlet valve , Few service centres adjust the tappet during your first service but few lazy service centres😂 say that they do only oil change on first service and chain lube , That's the first four free labour services we get ,👍

I got my tappets adjusted in the second service but the timing chain sound still sustained

That noise is coming from two things... The camshaft's de-compressor has worn out and the timing chain springs have adjustment issues

And i got tappets adjusted... Next I'm gonna adjust the timing chain springs... N if that doesn't solve the problem... May be I'll get good quality earphones 😆

I have same issue with the my himalayan.the bike is at service center .they changed the crankshaft and crank base but no change.

They are changing the crank shaft as the gear attached to it and the balancer threads are broken and probably thats what's causing that rattling noise.

This is common. I have a bs6 2020.. 35000 ridden. Sounded just like this from start. No issue to the engine.

Tapets,timing chain spring, can cure it...or the easiest way get a better quality helmet you won't be able to hear the noises while riding
