Lifespan about 17 years, but then Kidney or other health condition ends up taking them. It is absolutely heartbreaking when you lose them after that amount of time, and can be hard to then get another ever again after the loss, because you can't go through it again, but they make the best companion and are extremely loving and affectionate, and they like hugs and sitting on and sleeping with you.
