Amazing how you could leave a very expensive trike outside without any locks w/out being it stolen. Tip for your future journeys - you should not leave your trike and your belongings on it in Canada and Moldova. It has to be properly locked with wheels, etc. The same is for Romania, Russia and the rest of Eastern Europe.

I know right? Every time I see him walk away from it, I have alarm bells going off in my head.

As I understand, nothing happens to property left outside like that in Japan.

Been following you quite diligently Matt. Congratulation’s for making your dream a reality. Sometimes I tell my wife I would just like to take a month and join you on the road and the experience that you accumulate with each visit to all these interesting places and people. Keep it up. Jayoe !
I have the same problem when it comes to finding shoes in Japan. The largest size that most retail stores will have is 28cm. One solution for you would be to order online and have them shipped to a conbini near you. Shipping is fast in Japan and usually arrives next day. nissen.co.jp has large sizes and a good selection of shoes. Also Amazon is really good here and you can have it shipped same day.

Jeremiah ketner Wow 1 day?Holy hell here in Brazil it takes at least 3 weeks if your order isn't sent to another state for accident or it doesn't get stolen in the road(They pay you reparations in this case)

🤣🤣🤣 GODAI!! Lol had me lmao... good one Matt! GoDai: Japanese therapeutic modalities and spiritual system or 5th element. Funny how some words in other countries has a peculiar sound and meaning. Example: Baka in japan is a bad word, in Philippines it means cow or beef meat. 😂

I really look forward to your videos Matt. I learn and see so much. I thought the castle would of had more furnishings, but I guess there wouldn't be enough room when there is so many people passing through. Say, coud you show your bike sometime and what you have mounted to the front bars? Just curious. Sometimes we get a glimpse and I go what is that? Example I so something blue on one of your bars and couldn't figure out what it was.

I had the same experience with buying shoes in Korea Matt 😂😂😂 I'm size 46... it's near impossible to find my shoe size.. I think it's because most Japanese have smaller feet

Riding into a strong wind all day would be higher on the “this sucks” list than climbing hills. Hills have a down side at least.
@VanlilfewithDaleandBailey7 жыл бұрын
It's a little easier on a trike to ride in direct wind than a diamond framed bike, but it still sucks. I own a trike too!

Hi, super video ! I'm Luca, a french journalist, working for a website called Jetlag (www.demotivateur.fr/jetlag). With the team, we would like to edit a short video about this crazy Himeji Castle, and we loved your video, some images are really cool ! I would like to know if I can use some parts of your video to create a short film/video about this strange statue and post it on our page and social network ? Of course, you will be credited on screen and tag on it. Cheers !

Always have thoughts of being glad an ancient building survived WW2, whenever or wherever I see one. Also, size 11 1/2 just isn't that huge anymore in the USA. Some of the guys I work with have 14 and even 15 size feet. I am a little guy. Only size 11. I won't plan on buying shoes in Japan.
