@@OongTheLastAirbender The problem is he’s always being referred to as similar to Mikey’s brother, who was also not a fighter but who everyone loved and respected due to his friendly nature, and determination to stand up for people even if it got him hurt - to fight a fight that you know you can’t win just because you have to do something. Takemichi’s always been referred to as the weakest physically, but the strongest mentally. He wins fights - he just doesn’t do it with his fists, which absolutely sets him apart from the typical anime main character you always see, he’s unique in that he’s really not strong, I love that 🥹

Like it or not the dad had a point. People say why break up with her if she’s still going to die in the future but what if she dies sooner the deeper he gets with toman. Shiba could have really hurt her just 2 episodes ago. A season ago a random’s gf got beat up and raped by the moebius gang

Technically he isnt repeating the same timeline. Yes he broke up with hina but that was just something that happened too. But the fact that he is gonna change the future of hakkai can maybe change the future and after that he come back with hina

But since the current animators know the ending and "his" role in it, I think that's how they closed the plot hole in the manga. After all, by showing "him" here, there will be no questions in the future, as it was in the manga

The last scene of the first season was kisaki calling takemichi his hero Im pretty sure this shows why because he saved hina and kisaki and called himself a hero when he did maybe kiasaki thought that he was his hero to like hina.

15:15 I disagree with her point about the father. The father has the right to protect her daughter. Him not knowing his children that much is irrelevant. He sees that they are happy, so he’s trying to keep that happiness. If I heard my daughter was dating a gang member, I would do the same thing. But on the basis of the story, I agree that he shouldn’t break up based on what Takemitchy knows. I am just showing it from the dad’s perspective and him not knowing anything in the future.

Its not repeated the same timeline. In the present takemichi didn't stop hakkai to kill taiju,in this timeline he will prevent taiju for being killed by hakkai. And who knows maybe takemichi can start dating with hina again because he changed the future.
