I don’t get it. When I saw the excavators I thought you would dig a channel to the ocean, clear the sand under the keel, and refloat on the incoming tide. Instead all I saw was a big mess being made and a difficult skull dragging operation that needlessly destroyed the boat let alone how much that all cost. I’m just scratching my head at this point.

The money involved would be better spent elsewhere, leave it where it is, no harm done when the fluids are removed there.

I never understood why more salvage outfits don’t use excavators , wheel loaders , exc ,to carry all different types of salvage missions!!,… what bothers me bout this particular shit show, is why you where such goddam butchers about it?!?!… ya got a pc450 w/sheers & ripper shank, a pc350 w/ scoop and destroyed the whole boat , just to burry all the contamination right on shore, instead of loading onto barge and recycling the fluids into totes…. that spot will leach for a while depending on how many gallons ya buried , just to save a few $$$ !!! … you hacks destroying the innocent, voiceless wildlife , that now just has to suffer, for your greed
