Thank you for watching, if you like what you see hit that thumbs up button for me! I’m working hard to put out quality content consistently and I’m doing all of it for FREE! All reviews and items featured on this channel were purchased out of my pocket and I have absolutely zero benefit or incentive to tell you anything but my absolute honest opinions. I do this all for fun because it’s my passion and I want to help people who share the same interests! I’d love to hear your feedback and what you would like to see next as well as any constructive criticism that may help me to make the best content possible!

A truck I use to keep the pins from falling out the lock side is tape. I throw a piece over all the pins heads and then I can flip the knife over without them falling out and dropping the standoffs.

When I swapped over to my ti scale, the action on skiffs got even better too. Better than they were with the g10 and ti liner.

Pro tip. Put the Chicago screws in the clip side and then If you cut a square out of one corner of an old business card and slip it under the clip it will hold them in and make it much easier to reassemble. 👍

@@BLADESANDFADESOFFICIAL also you can take the clip off so the knife will lay flat against the table and handle nuts can’t come out. You can also put a piece of tape over the handle nuts and that’ll keep ‘em in place while assembling sandwich style.

What's your take on taco bearings. I'm new to titanium and was wondering if bearings rolling on them directly is a good idea or should you have the metal washer like taco bearings? Great video!!

Great question! Unfortunately I haven’t tried them before so I can’t say. If I get another knife that needs a bearing upgrade I’ll try them out and make a video though! 👊🏼😁

They will. The skinny is just a thinner blade stock.

Cool video! But ceramic bearings are ment to run completely dry. Not drenched in lube or even a tiny drop. Dry means Dry haha. That's really the point of them.. there's no need for the thin oil barrier. You are going to gunk up & ruin those bearings with pocket lint/dust/dirt. The effectiveness of those bearings will be cut in half in a very short time.

Gunny Glide is different from conventional pivot oils. The lubricity is from graphene and the oil is just a carrier for the graphene to get wherever it’s needed. The oil itself drys up pretty quickly so unless you take it in the dirt right away, attracting dirt and gunking up won’t be a problem.

@@BLADESANDFADESOFFICIAL It doesn't really matter.. at that point you could just use a powdered graphite dry lube.. that is used on pinewood derby car wheels. But it doesn't change the fact ceramic bearings should be ran completely dry. Either way. It's your knife. You can run Lucas Red 'N Tacky automotive grease & claim better performance. But it doesn't change how ceramic bearings were ment to be used.

@@doejon9424ceramic bearings are self lubricating. They have the ABILITY to be run dry, but aren’t meant to be. That’s a complete myth. I work with them in an industrial manufacturing capacity and we ALWAYS lubricant them to prolong the life.

Is there a knife company that uses hardware commensurate with the 100's or 1k's you spend on these knives?? I mean this isn't ikea, why is stripping even a concern? Jesus

5/64th is the bit size in the Hinderer’s Armorer Tool. Also, I run my Hinderer’s dry (especially with ceramic bearings) or only add 1/2 a drop per side if needed. All that extra oil you’re adding is gonna make a lot of dirt and dust stick to the pivot area and make it gritty. Oil is a dirt magnet. You don’t want puddles of oil on the knife. Cool videos.
