Hello Laxmi For yearly maintenance there are different options starting from 1500 to 4000. It depends on what all things you want to get changed other than filters. The frequency depends on the quality of water, if the input water is not very muddy then filters may last around 18 months or even more. Generally all companies say you should get them changed in 1 year. Call companies toll free number to get better idea. Hi Sushil, Regarding SCMT + SAPC combination given in Z8 is Definalty better than UV. But if you live in a place where there are lot of industries and having very polluted environment like Delhi and has a risk of getting traces of heavy metals, chemical waste and other complex microbial organisms being present in water then you could go with Z8. But if that not the case than RO + UV will be enough considering the TDS of your water is above 500.

Bkz after 4 months only algae(green color in water) forming in water which causes severe health issues to human's health.And they are not ready to resolve the issue.They are just saying that due to sunlight it is forming ,need to install at some other place.If it is true ,in the first four months usage even in march and April months,we didn't face any issue with algae.Only after indication of SCPA,they changed the filters,after that only we are facing the issue.

See understand 1 thing first that bacteria and micro organisms are in our body too, in fact 56% of our body mass is made of micro organism. Now UV filter make them inactive my destroying there DNA. So now they cant do any thing and no use of filtering them. Still if you fell you can buy UV + UF. Coz main thing is you should get mentally satisfied then only things work for you properly.

Hello Amit - you can not add UF to z1 purifier. - tata swach viva silver is a decent filter with basic filters . just confirm with company representative about the outer casing of it UV filter is it alluminium or stainless steel. its very imp as alluminium is not good for health. - i wanted to know the reason you want a UF filter ?

Hi.. Note: it's going to be long, so be Patience!! So I wanted to add UF filter of 0.01micron.. Bcoz.. 1). due to shortage of water.. my complex stores the municipality water in a big concrete watertanks.. 2). and before it Comes to my flat.. it's passes through two more sub-tanks.. So practically it's becomes 3 tanks.. 3). I observed that after every clean up those water storage tank of my building wing.. the first 5 -10 minutes of water comes up to our flat.. its consist lots of muddy water(reddish yellow colour mud of main water storage tank).. So because of this reasons.. i want to be extra safe.. And since i don't want RO filter bcoz its waste alot of water.. Hence, Im actually looking for this combination of Water purifier: Pre filter + sediment + Active carbon + UV + silver post carbon filter(for smooth taste) .. I know im looking for too much 🙈 in the budget of 4k to 6k.. But if you can help.. it will be great..!! Looking forward to your reply.. : )

Hello dear - it's a UV filter and not having UF filter. UF filter is a different tech and I recommend you to see Bellow given video to understand the difference. Now with 270 TDS you can go for UV filter and it is quite well for you. - AO SMITH does say and even every other company also say to use uv till 200ppm but those are international standards and in India we can go for UV filter upto 500ppm. So don't worry. I also have a TDS of 290 and using it since almost 8 months now and very happy.
