Dear blogger I am sure you heard the elderly woman says she lost her home due to river washed way her lands. And one of the major reasons for land washed way is Teesta river barrage created by India. And Bangladeshi government does provide home and land for freedom fighters you didn’t ask her whether her father was a freedom fighter or not or just died due to conflict. Yes there is no denying that no injustice happens on minorities in Bangladesh but the number is very negligible and we Bangladeshi believe in harmony and peace. Many Hindu families fled to India during 1971 due to Pakistani army was murdering Hindu families cause they believed Bangladeshi Hindu were the reason for 1971’s civil unrest ( which is not true, the whole nation stood against the army aggression). After 1971 some Hindu families left Bangladesh to India due to economical reasons ( because then compared to India Bangladesh as war effected country) and they have extended family in India not because of persecution. Like any other community in Bangladesh, people from Hindu communities also holds major roles in top jobs in private and public sector and even both ruling and opposition party we have Hindu MP. But it’s sad to see there is no Muslim MP in India ruling BJP party.

Do teesta river flow to Chittagong. I think not. And you are not that honest when you say instances of atrocities are negligible. In India justice prevails for all but not in Bangladesh because the legacy of partition of India and creation of Pak state persists till date among a sizeable section.
