Yea the scent is more of a wilderness mountain range scene than cannibis. When I got it a couple years ago and read the other meanings of Hindu Kush as the mountains range, the scent made sense.

I got almost all Mancera collection i do really enjoy all of the different tones that every one has. It definitely more to this brand but never had this one. Two days back i get it. I cant wait to smell it. 🎉thanks for the review and yes after long time on shelf the smells and longevity stay almost all day it lingers. Its beautiful but not every Mancera is for everyone nose. Or skin. They can be very pronounced fragance and some of them really last on me 8+ hours. Every ph is different too. So far is one of my favorites houses to get something new. Im pretty sure a lot of people agreed Mancera Montale is good. I been using it for years now.

with Mancera and Montale fragrances I have the same problem as with the low-end Middle-Eastern ones : after you wear them a few times, you leave them for 1-2 months on the shelf and longevity will improve, sometimes the scent too

This was the same case with my Red Tobacco & Chocolate Greedy, when i first bought it I thought it was super weak and did not last, so i put them away for about close to a year and now they lasts and smells amazing!

Hello, Mark. I enjoyed this review very much. I couldn't wait for the video on this and see your take on it. I personally really enjoyed this scent the more I wear it. If you wear this fragrance in winter (applying it more), you can smell more of the incense and amber notes, and if you wear this in cool spring you will get more of the greens like the patchouli, green cannabis note, as well as banana note more of the banana peel inside of the banana peel...

Funny you wrote that as I wore it the start of Fall here so it's still warm but the cooling season is starting and I def. got all the greens I listed and the banana. I do look forward to trying it in different seasons!

I have this, Aoud Violet, Cafe Aoud, Aoud Exclusif and Red Tobacco. All 5 are great, well blended and beat their Montale counterparts easily. Red Tobacco stands out the most to me as both challenging/complex and beautiful/inovative at the same time. Both Mancera and Montale release way too many fragrances without proper thinking process so it's hard to separate the wheat from the chaff... :(

Nice review. It’s a very comforting fragrance that is unique to my nose. Silliage is fantastic. No banana smell here. Get a little warm amber.

Like many, some of my early forays into niche was with Mancera. Like you, I have not become a very big fan. I bought this one as my second from the house and have tried for the last couple of years to love it, but I just can't. It's ok. Comes off a bit too strangely sweet for me. Even though I like many sweet frags, there's something about this particular blend of spicy sweetness that is just screechy on me. That said, I haven't been able to bring myself to get rid of it even though I probably only wear it twice a year.

I dont get the banana vibe at all, I have the magnetic cap version so its probably a different formulation than your screw cap. Its definitely not my top choice of perfume but i have to admit that its quite unique in its own way. Im into middle eastern perfumes so this works for me.... kinda lol. Its a good scent not a great one imo
