Great job as usual! I really like the overall design and it's going to be bitchin with some nice stepped and or bead rolled sheet metal to complete the bed. There's so much you can do with the bead roller to add not only strength but a nice flowing design as well.

Glad I could help! Good luck! After completing my bed I would go with thinner gauge on the frame and slightly thicker on the sheet metal. I did 11ga on the frame and 18ga sheet metal.

Just throwing out some ideas but what about some expanded steel for the floor and just let it rust.....or maybe some 18ga sheet with a flap wheel finish in some sort of pattern. This project could also present a nice excuse to expand your business and skills......buy a bead roller and do a diamond embossed pattern on sheet panels with ribs separating the panels like an original wood floor would have been laid out.
@PuddinsFabShop6 жыл бұрын
The expanded metal would be too ratrodish for me. I’m either gonna keep it smooth, beadroll it or dimple die it in a pattern. Haven’t decided yet. The way I built the frame won’t make for symmetrical patterns if I stepped it with a beadroller.

I'm used to working with cheap crap too and I was over somebody's shop one day and I wished I could remember the name of them I can't but they came from a plant where they recycled carbon teeth and they used grinding disc not the flappy sandpaper but the grinding you could not wear that thing out I mean it take you 8 months to wear it out so I guess that might be something to look up what do they use in a factory or whatever they recycle carbon teeth since you do so much crying and cutting it's very hard but it doesn't become crystallized I guess you would say it continues to cut

You ain't going to put no lift kit in it and get it up off the ground do you need a skateboard to stick it under each door it kind of hurt my marshmallows I don't know if my Lucky charms is going to taste right you got to laugh about some of that pudding doing a good job ma'am this stuff don't get so mad about it certain people's comments because everybody is different you know what I like watching you because you cut up better than anybody else but I tell you what I know whistling diesel makes a lot somehow somewhere but I don't like watching him just destroy things that others could use you know he got enough money he goes by stuff and shreds it and tears it up drops it f**** it up excuse my language you know what I mean that's just a little bit and people make kids may want to see that but it's not a I just don't agree when there's so many people needing things and turn jar up things that they shredded like the sagging trucks they're sitting down the rear he wants to go buy them up and shred them and then put them in jars and yeah maybe get one lucky person cuz he can do that but the point about it is he's taking good things and destroying them instead of changing them anyways I'll continue to watch I haven't started watching a little bit of marsky and he's boring as crap but a lot of Intel Duff's got to open hood anyways
