ATTENTION ALL! Mortske’s video with the dualing datsuns won’t be up until next Monday! The merch website will be down for a week to allow us to catch up on orders! We are behind from our wedding week! The audio on the camera messed up on this video and I cleaned it up the best I could! Also there’s a editing issue in there where the audio don’t match the video for a few seconds, somewhere around the towing the propane trailer out mark! Sorry about that! Hope y’all enjoy!

For people that are curious: The Mighty Mo G1000 was a late 60's tractor. It was powered by a MM 6 cylinder engine. 8.3L 6 cyl engine, well past the 500 cubic inch mark. Rated around 100 drawbar HP. Obviously, being a 6-10 ton tractor(depends on weights) HP is not really measured for it like you would a car. Redline is probably somewhere around 1900 RPM. This one they have is pretty rare. They made a smidge over 7000 of the G1000 over 4-5 years, most were diesel, most were not wheatland. Lots of people would ditch the cab because it is a tin noisebox, but that has made factory cabs super rare too. This tractor in good form will freeking CHUG like a train. Mighty Mo diesles roll black smoke enough to make any cummins/duramax millenial wet their pants. I doubt the LP version will, but it will still chug like a son of a b. When this tractor was built, White(made trucks) had owned them and Oliver, and Cockshutt(mostly Canada). After this tractor, they combined this engine with Olivers transmission and made a G1050 and G1350. There weren't hardly any painted yellow though. I am familiar with these because I grew up with and now own my Grandpa's(then my Dad's, and now mine) '65 MM U302. Tractors like this can sit for 40 years and fire up with an afternoons work, provided they weren't parked because of a breakdown. There's no computers to fail.

When using a 20 lb. Grill tank to fill another tank, you need to turn the 20 lb. Tank upside down. The 20 lb. Tank feeds the grill from the top of the tank. To get the liquid propane out of the grill tank the tractor needs the grill tank upside down.
@larrybolhuis1049
@larrybolhuis1049 2 жыл бұрын
Another thing that works, though slower, is to make sure the 20 lber is warmer than the tractor tank. Problem of course is the little guy will cool as the liquid goes to vapor so it needs a heat source. The propane will migrate to the cooler tank and condense there. This is how I fill my 20 lb tanks from my 200 gal generator tank. Sit the little guys in ice water for a while and you can hear the gas flowing from one to the other. A couple hours and you have plenty in the 20 lber to grill for some time.

Jimmy looks like a worthy opponent for my old ass to arm wrestle. You other guys, not so much. I acty fan a Chevy 350 on propane for some years before propane lost the price advantage. Those liquid draw units use water from the cooling system to keep the "carb" from freezing because the propane expands about 270 times it's liquid state. I can tell you that the engine wear on the Pistons was almost non existent, but valves in those days were a little soft for propane

New to your channel but Your saying I heard in the first video I watched of yours. “Sitting on your ass will not finish a project” inspired me to go out and buy my own old project. Last week I grabbed 1951 4 door shoebox. And also started a channel to show the progress. Ordered parts from Shoebox central thanks to the video of you riding to the show and helping them setup early. Great content keep up the good work.

This is truly some fine entertainment. From falling down to rat chasin, to tree watering, oh and even gettin an old tractor running.

Nice to see an old mini in it's movable body, my family has used them for pivot irrigation, grew listening to them purr from a 1/4 mile away.
