Kaladin: "Sometimes lives must be spent for the greater good." Moash: "Exactly!" Kaladin: "That's what Amaram said. In regards to my men, whom he killed to cover up his theft." I think the 5th ideal giving any legitimacy "killing in the greater good" is going to mean Kaladin will fail to reach the 5th ideal. He would forever view himself as another Amaram.
