Yeah that’s right mate, so when you have difficulty getting a clear run in those situations I’d use a prelifter or the decoder

@@maxh9761 no problem mate, key blanks make perfect preflifters for these , try and use a brass one gives a lovely smooth finish and is easy to file how you want it

@@FortressLocksmiths I find every single one doesn't have a clear path underneath, which means aggressively corkscrewing the wire to get under. Sometimes that works but throws the lever pack all over and I can get lost as to where I was up to .

This is my issue too. Really struggle to get under them on the couple I have tried. Even the pre lifter I tried (ICL), the picking wires I've got (from Andy Mac) don't seem to be able to access all the levers.

I do have prelifters but wasn’t needed for this as there was a clear run through….I use the ICL curtain pick in this vid, but also have the GJ multi pick and GJ uni gauge
