Inrush (Rush current): Assess transient currents at motor startup
The CM4000 Series can simultaneously measure inrush current in RMS as well as maximum crest values at motor startup and for welding currents.
The clamp meters automatically detect the duration of the inrush current (which can range from several dozen milliseconds to several hundred milliseconds) and measure the current during that interval, enabling them to yield more accurate
measurements than standard clamp-on meters whose measurement interval is fixed to 100 ms.

I have the 4372 and it's definitely pretty damn sweet. I bought a set of probe master leads. They have some excellent leads with alligator clips that actually screw onto the end of the probe

Well all I can tell you is I've had to fix a lot more flukes then hioki and I've been having some very bad experience with fluke over the last couple of years

Hiya pleaseeee. hopeing you can help me i think I have a big problem,for the freelander 1 ,1.8 petrol k series, from a cold start with the heaters on in car, should the fans in the engine bay be on and turning straight away Because my fans are not on, and the coolant bottle HAS the coolant returning straight away ? Are these normal I got told that the front fans would not turn on until the car is hot.. the temp guage goes to the half point but not over and it takes about 20 min to get to the half point,

Hi mate you could have a few issues here going to be impossible for me to say without seeing the car but you might have air conditioning on in your car which will turn the fans on you could also have a problem with the fans you could also have the problem with the temperature sensor also problems with the thermostat or possibly the water pump unfortunately can be a few issues it will need to be tested and to go through properly
