Hi dear, Im a grandma and I got to one of your videos trying to learn to make a body suit for my daughter. But your personality made me watch other videos because you're such a peach of a person. If you use some spray adhesive and a little thin batting it will smooth out your pads without the multiple layers of tights. also, if you bring just a smidge of the batting down on the leg it well taper that edge out perfectly. Stay wonderful. The world is a better place with you on it!

Love the video. You might try putting your pads on backwards (ie with the rough cut against your skin). It provides a smoother surface and you may be able to eliminate one pair of tights.

You can try. The reason I cut the crotch is because it is hard to finish the edges if you leave the finished edge on the crotch part. By cutting the crotch and moving it a little higher it gives more fabric to finish the edge. I hope this makes sense.

It is not that expensive. Check your local fabric store. I use the 2 inch thick foam. You can also watch for a couch cushion that someone is throwing away. That is the cheapest!

Have you tried flipping them , smooth side out. That's how I use to do when I made my hip pads and how I made for other queens. And just make disk shape inserts if you needed to go larger for gown and such

Sure, basically it's in the shape of a P amd backwards P for the right. And use turkey carver ( electric knife ) and taper the edges. Smooth side out, then get yourself a pair of danceskins , pair fish nets, the 2 or 3 pairs of sheer to waist tights, and even out with tan and white for skin color
