when the femur is behind the mid frontal plane (in extension) iliacus medially rotates the femur, along with Psoas minor and major. A short iIiacus can also cause anterior rotation of the ilium via the proximal attachment and medial "flare" of the ilium/twisted pelvis. If you share these videos you should at least know your functional anatomy fully.

Iliacus is doing an external rotation, but the video shows an internal rotation

i see why you come to this,.. if you watch closely you can see the first movement is an external rotation… but you are right when I do a review I will do a better job making the phases of the movement clear,.. thank you so much for your feedback! have a good one ☝️!
