This channel is FANTASTIC. So much useful information! I’ve never realized how much I take freedom of movement for granted. Not anymore!

Yes, this is definitely what happens. I’m over the age of 50 and I walk like a penguin. I am trying to correct it now.

So brilliant, and so true. If you let these things slip away, one at a time... we walk like Frankenstein... lol... exaggerated, but we get it.

Yesss I need this use forearm crutches for balance, fatigue and sometimes pain, which has allowed me to get out way more, but I've noticed that I've lost a lot of that control on the side I experience hip pain on

Now that my knees have been relatively fixed. So for decades i swung my leg from the hip because of painful mechanical problems in the knees. It sure does wreak havoc up and down the chain.

Both of my glute medius’ are torn from jui jitsu. Feels like my ITB is getting overworked to compensate and now it’s affecting everyday life I’ve finally started to do something about it. Why does it take so long to heal once your over 50? Love your stuff Tommy!

Just that you have more years built up of moving certain ways so you’re trying to rewrite bad habits, never impossible but does take that little bit longer!! Would check out our hips playlist and start racking up the things you find hardest
@mrnigel427110 ай бұрын
@@TomMorrison do you have a torn rotator cuff/shoulder health playlist? I’ll have to ask my kids how to search playlists up. Body AND brain is slow!

I just got back from the gym all fine but when I lifted my cast iron pot which isn’t that heavy I felt a twinge in my lower back near my waist on the left What is it? What can I do to avoid twinges?
@camillamerighi6833 Жыл бұрын
You possibly didn't hinge correctly and didn't stabilize your back while moving. Often we pay attention to the things at the gym but not in our free time
@TomMorrison Жыл бұрын
Could be form related or something up with your hips really, there’s many causes, if you have a look through our hips playlist you’ll hopefully find some things you struggle with to work on
