@Kilo80Kilo6 ай бұрын
I think that goes unsaid and unnoticed most of the time these days. The blues influence. But it wasn't just the load and reload that displayed those blues tendencies although they do shine through quite well as the temps were pulled back. You can find it sprinkled in the 1st three albums and some of these songs if you were to strip out all the distortion and loudness, you'd recognize instantly.

Definitely don't hesitate to react to The Unforgiven III. It's quite a bit different than both I & II, but I think the difference is exactly what the third installment needed. I think you'll like it. Also, don't listen to anyone telling you Metallica after a certain time is no good. Anyone telling you that isn't a Metallica fan, they're just someone who has heard other non fans saying spouting out B.S. saying it's no good just because it's different and they don't get it. Basically there is alot of really good Metallica to listen to in every stage of their career. The album that 'The Unforgiven III' is on called 'Death Magnetic' is is (in my opinion) an amazing album.

This is off Reload btw, so for all the load & reload haters, you stand on sand. LISTEN TO BLEEDING ME off LoaD, the best of the era. This 96ish-99 was James peak howling ability. 86-89 was indeed his finest growling combined with in tune singing, however his ability to howl in this era is his finest moments displayed in perfection in s&m1. James vocal talent has increased constantly even the toll of his growl took much of that ability away he has only honed his ability to manipulate syllables and his voice
