PanterA live was a sight to behold. They were easily one of the most intense and impressive live bands. I was lucky to see them six times between 1994 and 2001. Good to see the young people out there discovering and keeping this music alive. Loved this reaction. 🤘🏼

I was a season ticket holder in the late 90's for the Dallas Stars. Dimebag and Vinnie were huge fans also and you would see them in their Stars jerseys nearly every game. There were many Star's players that said they guys helped them win the Stanley Cup in 1999. Craig Ludwig of the Stars asked them to do a song for the Stars coming on to the Ice before the game. The guys obliged and a a winning tradition was formed in what became known as 'Puck Off'. They then began playing it after every Goal the Stars scored. Check it out here and a cool story about the song... kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKa6e2OZg8mHeLc kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z2andKV6bquaoKM

It's 'ok' to like vastly different genres of music. I do....I'm 'mostly' a 'metalhead' yet that is only my personal inclination. A main reason is because I have played instruments for the last 25+ years..plus I have been a music lover since my ears first worked. The key is to not 'compare' and judge different genres of music to each other. Listen to a band and 'get' what they are about...where they are coming from and ENJOY IT FOR WHAT THEY DO/BRING. THIS ISN'T A COMPETITION...IT'S EXPRESSION! PS I saw Pantera live in 1992 and it was LIT BEYOND COMPREHENSION just as this performance was! Basically this is an immortal performance.

I think the live version is better on this one mainly because of Dimebag. I think the only thing that would be better on album version are the vocals. Phil was amazing though, don’t get me wrong. But to see Dimebag in action and especially one of his best solos in my opinion, is what makes the video for me. I’ve watched it so many times and sometimes still hits me right in the feels seeing the Abbott brothers kicking ass up there. R.I.P. Dime and Vinnie.
