At 3:03 lead guitarist Kirk Hammett lifts the Gibson Les Paul in victory after doing some repair no doubt. If you're a guitar player you know, the Gibson Les Paul is a bad ass guitar. But they are high maintenance for sure! I have one, and a Jackson Soloist SL2Q. I play the Jackson more and it has a Floyd Rose pain in the ass tremolo bridge. Plus, Les Paul's are a heavy beast. LOL

My son was 8 years old and heard me playing this on a keyboard & asked if I'd teach him how to play it. I told him, "I got the patience if you do." After that I didn't have to teach him anything. He rocket shipped off on his own in music.

Ive been a Purple fan since hearing Smoke on the water on the radio in 1972 for the first time, got Machine head on vinyl then Fireball, In rock,Made in Japan when it came out,Who do we think we are, then front man Ian Gillan and bassist Roger Glover left the band, and I ran across Burn in stores later on,and saw that there was a different front man David Coverdale and bassist Glenn Hughes, but i got it anyway, then got Storm Bringer when it came out,and both Purple phase 2 and there were good, long as Blackmore and Lord were still in it,and I also liked Come taste the band with Tommy Bolin on guitar who joined Purple after Blackmore quit to form Rainbow, unfortunately the band only recorded one album with Tommy.

Demerol belongs to a class of drugs known as opioid analgesics and is similar to morphine. It works in the brain to change how your body feels and responds to pain. Meperidine should not be used to treat long-term or ongoing pain. It should only be used to treat sudden episodes of moderate to severe pain.

The clean guitar intro is using an old MXR pedal. Either a phaser or flanger. Back then the frequency response would drop low when the pedal was activated just due to technological limitations of guitar pedals of the 1970's.

The guitar slung keyboard instrument was Edgar Winter's invention. I first heard this song at age 10 and it completely changed my musical paradigm. What Real music could be. I could never go back to AM radio of pop music. I sought out progressive musicians on the FM stations and was blown away by what I heard.
