Back in 2005 I showed up to one of their shows with Trivium 5 hours early trying to get autographs, they admired my dedication and i ended up hanging out with them all day eating barbeque and drinking; it was a small show with only about 20 people but its still one of my favorite experiences in metal.

RIP 3 Inches of Blood. Got to see them live several times, they put on a great show, sadly they broke up three years ago. Their third album, Fire Up the Blades, is their best release. The Goatriders Horde!! 🤘🤘🤘

Im 74 yrs old & Here is my list of ' Must Review ' Heavy Metal songs my wife & i saw help give birth to hard rock & heavy metal , when i returned home from 3 tours & 25 months of combat in Vietnam in 1969 i was so ready for a life change ,my wife & i spent the 70s & 80s smoking opium & hash while seeing over 500 concerts including the California Jam and the US festival , we stopped attending live shows after my wife who was 62 at the time fell down a hill & broke her foot in 2008 while seeing Zappa Plays Zappa , here is my top 10 must listen songs ,several helped spawn the heavy metal genre . #1 Frank Zappa , song title is The Torture Never Stops ,the album is Zoot Alures, its the 1st hard rock song with lyrics of a serial killer who keeps victims in a dungeon & brutally tortures them , the victims agonizing screams made the song unfit for radio play . #2 Ted Nugent , song title is Stranglehold , album is self titled Ted Nugent . #3 Rush , song title The Necromancer , the album is Caress of steel , the song is obviously referencing Lord of the Rings books . #4 Pat Traverse , song title is Snorting Whiskey , album is Crash & Burn . #5 Van Halen , song title is Mean Streets , album is Fair Warning . #6 Rollins Band , song title is Step Back, album is titled Weight . #7 Robin Trower , song title is Too Rolling Stoned , album is Bridge of Sighs , every last song on the album had such an impact that every song was in the top 50 rock song list for 2 years. #8 Body Count , the song is Last Breath , the album is Born Dead , the all black heavy metal band is fronted by rap music pioneer Ice T and this band caused massive public outrage that was nearly as bad as the fear & outrage Black Sabbath got when they arrived in america. #9 Black Sabbath , the songs are Snow blind & Sweet Leaf and they both were the 1st heavy metal songs detailing cocaine addiction & glorifying marajuana use . #10 Frank Zappa , song title is I come from Nowhere , the album is Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch , the song is historically important because it was the 1st rock song written with the intent of taking the guitar & composing chord progressions that were just below being impossible for any guitarist to play & the song made Steve Vai an overnight sensation if zappa fans will excuse the pun , the guitar work in the song was so much more extremely complicated than the ground breaking playing of Eddie Van Halen it shot tje then unknowm Steve Via into the pantheon of guitar gods overnight . It would be extremely refreshing to hear a channel review these ground breaking songs vs following what's become a top 40 set list of heavy metal review channels .

I said it once and will again here because it makes even more sense since Deadly Sinners is in it, but the OST of Brütal Legend contains pretty much every metal band you should absolutely listen to. If you're ever looking for more titles, just check it. :)

So many better Coheed songs though! Here we are Juggernaut, The Crowing, anything from SSTB honestly. Welcome Home is great, but too many people think it's like the pinnacle of the band haha

Adam Eves I'm a big fan of Judas Priest. I know why I was saying it. I mean it's not exactly the same voice but some parts especially higher pitches sound very similar

I got one of their CD's in a care package when I was in Iraq in '09. I would blare this shit in the bus driving perimeter road around Al Asad air base. The locals hated it.

Again still waiting on them Devin Townsend Project reactions. Please react to "Kingdom - Live at EMGTV" for a great introductory to him and his incredible vocal talents. Then follow that up with "Deadhead - Live at the Royal Albert Hall" for some insane vocals. He is one of, if not the best live musicians in Metal. I am going to keep spamming this on every video you release :D

I just sent Alex a package with a bunch of cd's and dvd's and a t-shirt yesterday. Made a list of songs that he really needed to react to/listen to/check out. Here are 5 more he needs to get around to (IMHO) ASAP: 1. Deftones - My Own Summer (Shove it) - This one is LOOOOOOONNNNGGG overdue 2. Alice in Chains - Would? 3. Fear Factory - Transgression (lead singer's from Houston) 4. Type O Negative - Everything Dies 5. Rammstein - Mein Land (Because it's fucking hilarious) I base this on what he SEEMS to like and what he's said he enjoys. Just trying to help him along.
