It’s midnight and this video right here came to mind. I was in middle school when it first came out and and fast forward 11 yrs and I still freaking love it

you're right: it was a lot of rosin. my bow was in serious need of rehairing, and i had to use extra rosin to get a grip on the string. also didn't help that i was standing really close to the mic. but you work with what you have. :)

hey nudge! thanks for the message. i took lessons until i finished college, and now i just learn from hanging out with other musicians. i wish i could say that i practice for hours on end, but i've been so busy lately with everything that i'd be lucky to get any time to practice at all! but i'm shifting my schedule around, however, and i plan to get to a more responsible practice schedule soon. :)

@nolie94 I've made my living off of my violin for almost 20yrs. I've studied violin at university and been teaching violin since I was in high school. I've played with Alfie Zappacosta, the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Strathcona String Quartet, Mercury Opera, Vinok Worldance (ethnic folk), AUDio SQUADron (avant-garde), Bullies of Basin St. (jazz), the Moksha Ensemble (world fusion), and many other pop, rock and folk acts. So…yes, I've LISTENED to classical before.
