@@AnatomyLab Sorry I didn't ask for skeleton , I asked for obtractor internal muscles.

Doesn't the obturator internus adduct the hip rather than abduct it? The muscle and tendon look like they shorten during adduction and lengthen during abduction in the video. I agree the videos are excellent illustrations.
@AnatomyLab4 жыл бұрын
ha mary, you are awesome! I just double checked- they actually do both depending on the position of the hip!!! i plan on updating my vids anyway- so in version 2.0 I ll add this. thank you for your input! also this is exactly what my videos are about, I ll make mistakes,.. so if we all reflect, will gain a better understanding,.. stay healthy alex

@@AnatomyLab You're right that it depends on the position of the hip. The muscle looks like it is contracting during the plie when the hip is abducted and externally rotated at the end of the video, but relaxing when abducting the hip in isolation in the middle of the video. You and your work are quite awesome, too, Alex!

Is it just me or are you expecting that muscle to snap like an elastic band 😬
@AnatomyLab3 жыл бұрын
I can assure you that the skeleton extensively warms up before every shoot, so we can eliminate the risk of injury 🤓

@@AnatomyLab oh good, I’ll sleep well tonight knowing that 😃
