I have the same blower, mines about 6 years old. Still going strong. Did have to rebuild the carburetor last year. But for a commercial use, that’s normal. I only use non-ethanol fuel, Stihl low carbon 2 cycle oil in the fuel.

Thanks for the video. I’ve been looking at this blower and pb770T X-series for $550. My local HD has the PB-755ST on clearance for $350 in store or $400 online. At $350 it’s going to be hard to pass up. Thats a $200 saving. I just need the blower for grass clippings. I’m hoping since they’re on clearance there’s not future problems ahead.

@@LarryMusgrave No I haven’t decided which blower to get but now the 755 is $314 at my local store. I wonder why they’re clearance the 755 so much. The 770 doesn’t offer much more at $579. I have read that the carburetor can be an issue with the 755 but a carb replacement is only $18 on Amazon. The price is making it hard to get the 770 for next year

@ Excellent point. I just need it for my home only but I want to buy once. Meaning I don’t mind paying a little more for reliable and a peace of mind. I have the echo sr225 trimmer and it has served me well. Honestly I have $200 bucks of HD gift cards so it’s a win win either way I decide to go. I’ll keep you posted my friend.

I'm convinced the 755 and the 770 are pretty much the same blower with two different price tags. The 755 supposedly puts out 651 cfm compared to the 754 cfm that the 770 puts out, but they have the same size engine, same or similar turbine housing, and a same or similar tube and nozzle. If you check out the videos of the 770T, they sound the same, and they appear to perform exactly the same.

@@erocker78 I had wondered how different the 770 would be side by side with the 755. Have you actually used both?

@LarryMusgrave I've only used the 755 that I currently own. I agree it would be great to see them perform side by side. I have a lot of trees on my property though and the 755 seems to put out just as much 770. The only difference I can see is a slightly bigger fuel tank and a cover for the spark plug. I wonder if Echo had to embellish a bit in order to market them as different machines. 🤔

I ran to another H.D. today, they had an empty slot in the caged tools for this 755ST, but the yellow clearance label is still there showing that it was $349. I thought i killed it at $399 at the H.D. I bought at, you guys at 350 stole it!

@mooch91 Wow, that's a crazy good deal, on a crazy good machine! You'll love this blower. While it's not the record setting machine, it is quite the performer.
