But the overall idea of being judicious of what you put out there and how you engage with criticism still persists. If you watch or read interviews with musicians, many have dealt with this issue of feeling hurt by the reception of their work, or having their creative direction derailed. It’s just something to keep in mind, and you only need to take it super seriously if you’re doing the “serious” stuff. Most work isn’t the “serious” stuff.
