My family are Mormons which is a branch of Christianity, I don't go to church anymore but here I am listening to Farah. Our religious beliefs should never divide us. When we put our beliefs aside, our race, our differences, this world becomes a much better place. We're all human! There's only two sides to our world. Gods side and the devils side. It is a war between good and evil. I don't roll with the devil hence the reason I can accept and listen to Farah without judgement.

One of the reasons why I stopped listening to self growth/life coaching podcasts was because I realized that none of the advice given worked for me. I spent years trying to apply the advices given to my life without success and I used to wonder why is it that everyone else can do it but I can't until I realized that I was missing the most important part which is Islam and Allah. I realized that our religion has already given us the manual for life from a-z and I don't need to look elsewhere for any type of guidance to live this life properly when my religion already provides it for me. Now the only podcasts I listen to are islamic/religion related that include human psychology in them. Alhamdulliah

Same. Have been trying to develop myself and feel less anxious and lonely by watching and listening to self growth videos for a very long period of time. None of those help. Still felt lost and realized the same that you mentioned. So now decided to only watch Islamic contents.

This made me feel amazing! With the end of Ramadan, sadly, I feel a bit of confusion and feel a bit lost. And honestly, it gets a bit difficult to keep up with the habits and all good things we learn througout Ramadan. But, in the end, it about how much we tried to keep up with those habits that helps us get closer to Allah, and islam. And hopefully, we can continue walking on the right path. The right path Allah has provided us!

Girl you found the words to express what I've been dwelling on for ages. Ngl i bought that when it was a new 'trend' during covid, but then i realized how shallow and unsignificant the concept (on its own) actually was. But it was such a good eye-opener; girls waking up at 4-5 to meditate or run or whatever and me not being able to wake up for fajr... Thank you for connecting the two to each other, I've never really thought about it like that.

Thank you for reminding me of my purpose and what’s important in such a gentle and thoughtful way ❤️ Also the “use your brain” made me laugh so much and it also really woke me up! - this concept that guidance comes with an active part, like you said guidance just doesn’t come to us, but we have to actively choose to use our brains to use the map. Bless your heart. I pray for so much light, peace, and continued guidance for you. I’m going to get up now and set some time to mindfully read Quran before I continue with my day.

First of all, Thank you for showing up again with an amazing podcast like usual Also concerning the best-self concept i would say that it's subjective; there is no best-self that everyhuman follows as if its a standard size BUT if i can define it i would say It's someone who is always seeking and putting the work physically and emotionally and mentally to improve himself every single day cause like as i mentioned before its ''subjective'' so we all are made with flaws and some wrong choices that we can actually improve or change for exemple : a human body is made out of 70 percent of water so my best-self needs to level up the water intake so i will fonction better, another exemple someone who was born in an abusive household his version of his best-self is to heal himself from every trauma that resulted from that environment and willing to make a family that is stable and calm so everyone is different. And following the Best-self trend blindly like waking up at a certain hour and doing pilates and then walking outside then eating avocado toast... i believe that we should take the positive out of it and let go of those habits that don't compliment with ourselves instead replace them with what's between our hands no need to be superficial only if that's your goal of course.
