Interesting. So Hircine's aspect of Guile is definitely more of a mage killer with the reflect, paralysis, and strong melee capabilities. He suffers against those who are able to hit harder and faster.

I'd also add that, as a magic user himself, this aspect of Hircine fares quite poorly against opponents with high resistance/immunity to paralysis. At a minimum, he's bound to waste a ton of time casting his spell over and over again.

Plus Aspect of Guile seems to be rather easy to stagger, which surprises me a lot!

His 100 percent chance to Reflect virtually guarantees a win against any spellcaster. He can be beaten, though. More on that later ;)

@@vivecarenapit I've never bothered fighting him personally. I thought that he was a fairly well written character so I always worked for him.

I'd guess most people who do fight him do so because (a) it's a good late game challenge (beating Helseth with his Royal Guards around him is one of the hardest fights in the game), (b) the Royal Signet Ring is easily the best artifact in the game to a point where wearing it makes you practically invincible. Plus he tried to have you killed first, so it's only fair that you do the same to him ;)

Yeah he really sucks, but only because his weapon is such trash. It's really fragile, too, and can break down completely in a single fight!

I didn’t have too much trouble with Tribunal as I was always prepared for the fights. I had a harrowing time with the end of Bloodmoon because it caught me without repair tools trying to level medium armor. I could have wiped the floor with the Aspect of Speed were I wearing pants and using one of the many powerful artifacts I had in a pile on the floor in the Balmora mages guild…

Знав, що так буде. У Гірцина є слабкість (швидше за все, баг): якщо при ударі списом відбивається магічне пошкодження, фізичний удар також часто не зараховується. Тому особисто мені Спис Гіркої Милості більше імпонує - удари проходять завжди.

У Саласа майже нічия. Вау. Він ще крутіший, аніж я думав. Проблема у тому, що персонажі не вміють битися. Вони використовують магію, коли не треба, бігають по полю, не стрибають..і не використовують переваги списа. Гірцин може просто вбивати більшість більш повільних супротивників на відстані. (До речі, шкода, що у грі не можна кидати спис)
