its possible to make some alpha wavy wet hair strends tutorial?

When I use the deformer (deformer soft) to taper the bottom of my hair, it also scales it down, scales it wayyyyy too thin. Even if I make the strands pretty large it still gets them almost too thin to use. Is this normal? I see you are in fast preview mode, should this maybe act as guides instead of strands?

I’m in love with your videos!) Hey, I have a little question. Do you know any resources\tutorials\articles about skin painting? Especially black or hispanic skin? I’ve seen some videos from flippednormals and even from you, but they all considering Caucasian face. And there are some articles about dark skin tones, but they mostly useful for 2D artists (highlights and such). Is there any tutorials about the whole body or black skin tones? Do you have any knowledge in this field? Maybe you can do a stream about it? Sorry for grammar and too many questions :D
