Great content! Both times I got Tormach machines delivered I wished I hired a rigger. Until I was done, then I said oh, that wasn't too bad! :)

One thing you left out is that most rigging companies are like dealing with sheetrockers. They rarely answer their phone and hardly return calls, in many cases you have to keep calling. Im dealing with a Saga right now getting a machine moved, they all are so busy its ridiculous

Highly recommend rigging professionals for moving these expensive machines. Bought one used 80 miles from my location. They handled it seamlessly including full setup, wiring, and leveling… best money I could spend.

Glad this worked out for you. How did you find one that far away from your location?

@ The company I used works nation wide. I called a friend that owns and runs a large CNC shop and he recommended them. The move was simple for them. Actually talked to them about moving a machine that was 1000 miles away until this much closer machine became available.

Nehmen wir mal den Verkauf nach Deutschland: Niemand wird sich dort eine Tormach selbst zusammenbauen. Die Maschinen müssen fertig montiert angeliefert werden, und es muss ein Servicemann die Maschine aus- und einrichten; und sogar eine Einweisung geben können ( diese Möglichkeit muss vorhanden sein ). Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis macht für Tormach den Verkauf schon schwer genug. In Deutschland sagt man sich: Lieber eine gebrauchte Qualitätsmaschine als eine neue Chinamerika- Maschine. Diese Hürde müssen Sie überwinden. Tun Sie etwas.
