Ang number one issue sa waterbased primer is ang durability nito kung gagamitin ito sa miniatures ok lang dahil fix pose hindi na magagalaw, pero sa gunpla ipopose pa malaki ang tendency na magchip ang paints. Suggestion ko iwet sand mo yung parts muna isasand lahat para may kakapitan yung primer. Great video sir 😊

yes it does, but if you want to do it safely I suggest do it with layers since this is primer, you really need a good level for your base coats 😁

Just an unrelated brand of Waterbased Acrylics question. Does Armored Komodo's Waterbased Acrylics and Transition paints also work on Gunpla? Or do you really have to prime it first with matte or glossy primer? Kinda working on both 30 Minutes Sisters and Gunpla right now. Resting away from Warhammer 40K.

i use arkom waterbased also on gunpla (handpainting but for minor details only, havent tried on ab yet) for transition paints they usually have instructions and FAQ on their page. im not a pro at painting but based on my exp, priming always gets best results. also you can message arkom directl they are really responsive, cheers mate!

in this case waterbase lahat gamit ko sir, depende sa primer na gamit ko, if waterbased ang primer mo, you cannot use Lacquer based acrylics over it, kaya I use waterbased paint pa rin, topcoat I use is waterbased pa rin 😁 panel liner naman yung mga leftover black acrylic ko ginagawa ko pang panel lining

I tried for 5mins, hindi pa siya full cured, hindi ko yata nalagay sa video atleast 6hours ko siya pinatuyo, pero sabi atleast 24hrs daw para fully cured siya

i think when ur wet palette is fully dry thats when the paint will start to settle, but u can reactivate the paint again when u wet ur pallete again

yes it is, I tried to sand it after 5mins 😅 it wasnt really that dry yet, then I did tried to sand a 24hour dried primer, it sticks really well, this is waterbased so it has a longer drying time

1st time ko rin po kc gumamit ng hi ro waterbased paints.kc dati po ang gamit ko ay acrylic solvent based paints na kahit direct to plastic at walang primer talagang kapit na kapit sya sa plastic.toxic nga lng po kaya hindi nko gumagamit ng solvent based.

Oks naman sakin, hindi ko na nga sinasand before applying, bare plastic rin, try mo muna I suggest, straight from the bottle, shake well then apply, pero yes ang waterbased is not as strong as lacquers etc, hindi siya advisable sa movable parts like joints and inner frames, check mo lang mabuti saan part ng gunpla mo siya gagamitin
