Hirogaru Sky! Precure First Impressions and Precure 20th Anniversary

Let's hope that this season is worth its title. This first episode was really good in almost every aspect, animation, villains, interesting concepts and more. Let's hope that they keep Wing and Butterfly as interesting characters and not only bait like "oh look we are breaking boundaries but won't develope them"

Ok I'm at episode 33 and I must say that I've never seen such a wonderful season in the last few years. I happened many times that I got bored watching seasons and movies released in the last 3-4 years but Hirogaru made everything change! I can't wait to see how the season wil go on with the plot, especially now that there's Cure Majesty

I’m really excited for this season! So many different things and so much representation! 😊 i’m really surprised and impressed! I wish people really would stop being so close minded when it comes to Pretty Cure and give the new things a chance. There’s nothing wrong with having a blue leader, a boy cure, an adult cure etc. This franchise has been around for 20 years already. What’s wrong with switching things up?

Been getting into the Precure series just recently and excited to eventually get to this series, I'm finishing up Star Twinkle Precure and loved the transformation song/all the designs and zodiacs which got me into discovering the whole Precure universe, but I know how much hype Hugtto had as the 15th anniversary, so I can imagine that there's just as much hype for the 20th anniversary with this series (plus the first Magical Boy)

The same snipit you showed on the ending was my favorite part too. The season looks so fucking cool. I also wish Prism had white or light blonde hair. I think cure wing being male will be interesting to explore. The white platform in the ending kinda looks like the base to a merry go round so maybe in ending two the other cures will appear on a merry go round? Prisim is my favorite because she is pandering to my aestheics and she’s a white cure. We didn’t get a green cure so I gotta stan them using white cures. They’re designs have cool possibilities as they can use multiple colors add accent like Prism and Echo have done. I just wish I could find some people to Play Glitter Hearts with. It’s Dungeons and Dragons but Magical Girl themed.

Yeah, that high notes of that part of the ed are just to good. I do like Prisms white dress and sweet and proper aesthetic. In my case, Wing will be the Cure to distract me from the lack of a green Cure. Though seeing as he is male, he would've been nice in green since green is a popular boy color.

I'm not into precure BUT FIRST MALE CURE HELL YEAAAAHHHH I've wanted to see magical boys done well bc that one we got in like 2013 or smth was just not it. I might actually check this one out for this reason

Yeah. Magical boys have always been parodies so for us to finally have one being a capable sparkly fighter being taken seriously is big.

I'm already liking all of the cures they are breaking so many walls, Cure Wing is my Andromeda Shun of Hirogaru Sky Pretty Cure, if you know Saint Seiya, (although we haven't seen who Cure Wing will be yet and his personality but the design already draws a innocence or pacifist side (to stay on why I'm comparing to Andromeda Shun) to him that I love that!).

This season has a really strong start hopefully they keep this quality throughout. Also I have a theory I think cure prism's grandmother is actually from the sky kingdom and was a precure because in the opening we see that she has a mirror so maybe this could be foreshadowing for something to come maybe it'll be like the other grandma from heart catch precure.

I was expect to see more new villians in the opening of Hirogaru Sky Precure and I can't believe that Cure Prisim won't make appearence until episode 4 which will be near the end of February. This is going to be a boring wait to see all four Precures coming together in one or two months.

She isn't. Cure Sky is the lead. Look, just because for the past years we've had pink cures doesn't mean Cure Prism is automatically the lead. Sora turned into a cure first making her the lead. And I don't wanna hear, "Oh, but in Suite Precure Hibiki and Kanade both got turned into Precure at the same time and yet Hibiki is the leader." because that was last season. Sorry If I sound toxic, I don't mean to. It's just that I wanna point out that Cure Prism isn't the lead of this years Precure.

We had adults before like cure chocolate #lezcures but this butterfly is the most beautifully designed cure i have ever seen my goodness! Older girls can be less cute and more foxy which is nice for a change

The main character is not pink finally what! Blue also for the first time ever! Boy precure also and white cure after so long cause they are usually pink. This season is insane!

Cure Butterfly has one butterfly on her hair, it's cute but would be cooler is she had differents butterflies on her skirt or antennas and wings. What i see is an idol, not a Cure. They are supposed to represent themes like Music (Suite) Fruits (Fresh) Desserts and animals (Kira kirs) Witches (Mahoutsukai) Princesses (Princess pecure obviously) not a band. First we already got cures based on Music, the Suite team. Second, a lot of Cures used instruments; Cure Pine and her flute, Cure Scarlet and her violin, Cure Passion with her harp, Cure Sunshine with her tambourin, the Healing good orchestra attack. That's enough! We don't need the new cures to have some. Instruments are not related to clouds or the sky. Her outfit is not ugly, just dissapointing to me and same for the others. I'm glad there's finally a boy Cure, that's great 😀Wing is orange, Sunny won't be the only orange cure anymore. Yay!

I'm kind of disappointed that Cure Wing is a fairy and not a normal human boy... It doesn't sound as exciting... Being a fairy he already hás a magical nature. A human boy befriending the girls would have been só much more interesting. The things I am happy about so far are the epic soundtrack and the fact that Cure Sky and Prism give off some serious Prince and Princess energy and I love that!

I can agree about Cure Wing. With him being magical there's a chance it might remove the nuances of being a boy friends with girls, but who knows what will happen. The prince and princess energy is so true. When Sora said she was Mashiro's knight it was so lesbian !
